Nigerian celebrities, Banky W, Julius Agwu, Joseph Benjamin, Yaw, Lepacious Bose and O.C Ukeje, will joinaward winning gospel artiste, Tim Godfrey and the Xtreme, to set the stage for an event tagged The journey begins, which is scheduled to take place at the MUSON Centre in Lagos on Saturday.
The event is a fusion of dance, drama and music directed by Joseph Ofili and aimed at inculcating in individuals the understanding that mistakes, challenges and setbacks are a crucial part of the human experience.
Set in a law court, it follows the trajectory of each character’s peculiar emotional dilemma, leading to a thought provoking resolution, before climaxing in a high energy musical performance.
Describing the event, President of RoX, Tim Godfrey, said “In a time like this, we need to create an atmosphere where we can reach out to our youths with a message even in the midst of the mess, that they can turn a new leaf today, and let The Journey Begins again for them towards a better life.”
