What was the first song you ever wrote?
I used to be in a group of three. We used to write songs then. I wrote Baby Girl.
Where was the first place you ever performed as a solo artiste?
That should be during Future Awards held at Ikeja (Lagos) some time back. That day was crazy. Somebody invited me but he didn’t give me the full details. The show was about inspiring kids and youth. I went there and I was singing romantic songs.
What is your first single?
It was Truly. I dropped it and it ‘blew up’ in two months.
What was your first award?
Oh yes. The song got me my first award which was City People award.
When was the first time you travelled abroad?
That was this year when I went to the US for NEA. It was music that did that for me. I don’t think I can do any other thing apart from music.
Can you still remember your first girlfriend?
Oh yes. She was a girl I dated for more than six years. We grew up together.
Was she the first person you kissed?
I can’t really remember the first person I kissed. It was when I was a kid.
What was your first car?
I just got Honda Evil Spirit from my record label and that is my first car.
