USA Universities and Most Canada Universities offer admission to student base on GPA acquired in all grades obtained in either WAEC or NECO.Unlike the British system used in Nigeria Instiutions where 5 Credits including maths and English are required to study in Universities and other higher institution of learning, Requirement for admission into Top USA Universities & Most Canada Universities Dont work That way. Though some accepts that but they are below 1%

To Be admitted into Top USA & CANADA Universities,Just one sitting exams is required and All grades obtained from WAEC or NECO are put into calculation of GPA. The minimum GPA required to study in Top USA & CANADA is 2.0 on a 4.0 Scale. GPA requirement varies by institutions. from 2.0,2.25,2.50,2.75,3.0 like that and like that.

If in your WAEC or NECO you register for 6 subjects, all subjects registered (either passed or failed) are put into the GPA calculation to determine your eligibility for admission to a particular school.

If you are still in  Seconday School or Awaiting result, The only thing that will be required would be your ss1-ss3 transcripts, also a TOEFL will be required this is because you dont have a final grade in either WAEC or NECO yet.

You would be required to present Your Final WAEC or NECO grade on resumption at the University/College
